Newall Transitions to ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems
Newall Measurement Systems is pleased to announce the achievement of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems Standard Certification. The transition to the new ISO 9001:2015 standard this June continues Newall’s long standing accreditation to ISO 9001 since original registration in 1997. “This certification is a testament to our strong focus to quality and it is an integral part of our continuous improvement culture. By meeting the criteria for this standard, Newall demonstrates our commitment to our customers and to our quality processes,” said David Hall, Quality Manager for Newall. In September 2015, the International Organization for Standardization released a new revision of the ISO 9001 standard, giving ISO 9001:2008 certified organizations three years to transition. With over 1.1 million certificates issued worldwide, ISO 9001 helps organizations demonstrate that they can offer products and services of consistently good quality to their customers. It also acts as a tool to streamline processes and make them more efficient at what they do.
